Not-for-profit Organisation of the Year Award

The winner of this category has now been announced. Congratulations to all our finalists in this category.

Open to all not-for-profit organisations across the globe committed to excellence in project delivery and outcomes.

There are four organisational award categories, representing different types of organisations. The Not-for-profit Organisation category is for organisations that have a project and/or programme portfolio and are operating on a not-for-profit basis (such as charities, associations, governing bodies and social enterprises). Judges are looking for organisations who stand out by delivering project excellence in delivery and outcomes.

We require entrants to all organisational award categories to produce a submission of 1,500–2,500 words (in English) based on the judging criteria. Entrants may also submit up to four supporting images or graphics only (no text apart from captions). Video and audio is not accepted as part of the submission.

The organisational award categories all one written stage only and are open to organisations across all sectors globally.

Congratulations to our Winner

Winner  National Trust

The Trust has rebounded from a pandemic low in portfolio delivery to an all-time high £285m (+140%) in 2 years, with dedicated professionals securing benefits for nature, beauty and history, supported by a new Centre of Excellence started with just 2 staff in 2021. Remarkable considering the profession lost 50%+ staff in 2020.

Highlights include: revitalised historic places (winning awards for Seaton’s Curtain Rises; and Sudbury Hall’s Childrens Country House); transformed access to green space, through Castlefield Viaduct sky garden; and Future Parks Accelerator partnership; revived our environment through Riverlands / Renewable Energy Programmes; and landing a complex CRM Platform.

Finalist  Chester Zoo

The Square at Chester Zoo is a new conference and wedding event space created within one of the UK largest visitor attractions. Refurbishing the original stable building and adding a new atrium extension we have created a beautiful setting right in the heart of our 92 year old zoo.

The original structures were once home to some of the zoo’s first animals including lions, bears and chimpanzees. Now offering a large open plan venue as well as a set of unique smaller meeting spaces, the Grade II listed building has been sustainably renovated into a timeless space where old meets new.
