Well not quite being lazy but members of the London branch were shown the art of productive laziness by Peter Taylor who gave his very popular presentation ‘The lazy project manager’ which explained the productive lazy approach to projects and how to apply these lessons thereby being twice as productive and still leave the office early.

On the 5th April, RPP rolled into the UK's capital cities: London and Edinburgh to present to over 100 APM members and non members who had turned up to learn about APM Registered Project Professional from Liz Wilson, APM's Head of Professional Standards and Knowledge and Julie Legge, APM's Head of Membership. As with all roadshows, RPP Champions were on hand to give their experience of going through the pilot and offer up any advice.

The AGM of the APM London branch was held on Tuesday 17th May 2011 in the Holiday Inn, Oxford Circus, London which was followed by a presentation by Mike Nichols, Chairman of APM on ‘Working with volunteers’

Mark Kozak-Holland recently started his second tour of APM branches with his Titanic – lessons for modern projects presentation being given in the Fujitsu building, London. Mark brings to light some of the misgivings on the design of the Titanic, cost saving errors and bad construction recommendations which resulted in the tragic loss of many passengers and crew of the ship.

The APM London branch has over 2000 individual APM registered members. There are also more than 100 corporate APM members with offices involving project management in the immediate London area.
There are also a large number of London-based further and higher education establishments with interests in education and research in aspects of project management.
