Coronavirus precautions

Like many organisations, APM is monitoring the ongoing coronavirus situation closely. We would like to reassure you that we have robust measures in place to minimise the impact on our operations arising from coronavirus and we are mindful that the situation is highly fluid. Any necessary decisions on business operations and events will be taken in accordance with the unique circumstances, and in line with the latest public health advice. In the event of any significant updates or changes, we will notify affected stakeholders immediately. The wellbeing of our staff, members and stakeholders remains our upmost priority.

As this is a very dynamic and fluid situation, we are continually reviewing the risks and will take further action based on Government advice as appropriate.

 

UPDATE ON EVENTS

We have made the decision to move all our conferences and events for 2020 to new virtual environments and we hope project professionals will still participate in them. We believe this decision will ensure the safety of our members, employees and those within the project community while opening up access and allowing many more people to participate.

Arrangements for each event are currently being finalised and we will provide details in due course.

We will communicate regularly with delegates and affected stakeholders regarding access to online events.

 

UPDATE ON APM QUALIFICATIONS

While we have made the tough decision to stop paper exams in line with government advice, the accelerated launch of our online exams allows candidates to complete APM qualifications including the exam without leaving their home.

We have a range of Accredited Training Providers who provide both an online course and exam preparation to make this possible.

If you have recently sat your exam, there will be a short delay in some results being sent as we are unable to process them. We will treat this as a top priority once our team is able to return to our office to process the exam packs. 

We will keep all event stakeholders fully informed if and when the situation changes.
