APM open examinations

APM arranges open exams for candidates who wish to self-study. Open exams are available for the APM Project Fundamentals Qualification (PFQ) formerly known as Introductory Certificate (IC), APM Project Management Qualification (PMQ) formerly known as APMP, APM Project Professional Qualification (PPQ)PMQ for PRINCE2* Practitioners and Risk Certificate qualifications.

The PFQ and PMQ examinations are now assessed against the APM Body of Knowledge 6th edition syllabus. Only re-sit candidates are able to choose APM Body of Knowledge 5th edition examinations through Accredited Training Providers until 31st March 2015.

How to apply

Register for an Open Examination by completing a qualifications application form and returning it by e-mail ( qualifications@apm.org.uk) or by post. 

Early booking is recommended as spaces are limited. No bookings can be taken less than five working days before the examination.

Payment can be made by cheque (payable to APM) or by credit/debit card. If you wish to pay by card, please include a telephone number so that we can contact you for your payment details.

Candidates applying to sit PMQ for PRINCE2® Practitioners examination are required to advise their roll number and the date that they took their exam.
