Judges' recruitment now open

The APM Project Management Awards will be taking place again on 16 November 2026 at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge, London and we are seeking experienced project professionals to judge the Awards. All judge applications are assessed against an eligibility policy to ensure judges have the appropriate expertise.

You can find the timeline for 2026 below. Categories and criteria will be available on 31 March when entries open.

Why apply?
Judging is a prestigious voluntary role that recognises your professional experience. It offers an opportunity to give back to the profession and gain insight into leading projects and programmes. Judges are entered into a ballot for complimentary tickets to attend the Awards ceremony in November (judges attendance is optional).

The role
Each category has a panel of up to five judges (some larger categories may have multiple panels). Judges score entries and provide feedback during the judging period.

Categories

One-stage categories: Judges score written entries via Award Force between 11 June and 16 July, at their own pace.
Two-stage categories:
- Stage one: Judges score written entries via Award Force between 11 June and 16 July, at their own pace.
- Stage two: Finalists present to judges via Microsoft Teams on a scheduled morning or afternoon (dates are listed on the application form). Please note in categories with multiple panels, not all judges may be invited.

Applicants are encouraged to apply for multiple categories.
