APM is opening a Regional Network in Victoria, Australia

Exciting volunteering opportunities are now available.

We continue to focus on maximising and diversifying opportunities for our members to volunteer with their chartered organisation. 

Central to this are our Volunteer Interest and Regional Networks, which reflect the connectivity among APM volunteers to one another to achieve common goals.

Applications are now open for volunteer roles in the new Victoria, Australia Network.

We’re inviting applications for the Regional Network Lead, Deputy Lead, or Network Volunteer roles — an opportunity to help shape the future of project management in your local region. 

As an APM Regional Network Volunteer, you’ll help drive volunteering activities and support the growth of your local and wider community, working closely with APM staff and the broader network of volunteers.

You’ll also enjoy opportunities for personal and professional development, expand your network with diverse practitioners, and gain exposure to new topics and experiences. Volunteers consistently describe it as a rewarding, confidence-boosting experience that makes a real impact on the profession.

APM Victoria, Australia Network Lead

  OPEN TO APM MEMBERS ONLY  

Purpose: To drive the volunteering activities and the growth of their community, in close collaboration with the APM staff and the volunteers involved with their Regional Network.

Eligibility: Aged 18 years or over. Associate, Full or Fellow member with at least one year’s APM membership. APM’s onboarding process is to be completed by all volunteers. 

Location: Melbourne, VIC area and online.

Commitment: 8-16 hours per month average.

Deadline: 26 February 2026, 18:00 AEDT (07:00 GMT)

APM Victoria, Australia Network Deputy Lead

  OPEN TO APM MEMBERS ONLY  

Purpose: To support the Lead in driving the volunteering activities and the growth of their community, in close collaboration with the APM staff and the volunteers involved with their Regional Network. 

Eligibility: Aged 18 years or over. Student, Associate, Full or Fellow member. APM’s onboarding process is to be completed by all volunteers. 

Location: Melbourne, VIC area and online.

Commitment: 6-14 hours per month average.

Deadline: 26 February 2026, 18:00  AEDT (07:00  GMT) 

APM Victoria, Australia Network Volunteer

  OPEN TO ALL  

Purpose: Support and facilitate engagement, knowledge sharing and outreach activities in the Network’s geographical area, in close collaboration with the APM staff and the volunteers involved with their Regional Network. 

Eligibility: Aged 18 years or over. Can be an APM member or a non-member. APM’s onboarding process is to be completed by all volunteers.

Location: Melbourne, VIC area and online.

Commitment: 6-14 hours per month average.

Deadline: We welcome applications at any time. To join the first Network meeting, please submit your application by 30 March 2026, 18:00 AEDT (07:00 BST)
