Jonathan Williams encourages us to think beyond the project boundaries to maximise the benefits in what we do and how we do it.  As Project Futures Lead at the Environment Agency, Jonathan provides expertise to link business problems with innovative digital and data solutions and is developing a framework to enable tracking and monitoring the benefits of digital transformation and innovation against the UNSDGs. 

With a career spanning roles in data analytics, leadership and management in both private and government organisations, Jonathan has a wealth of experience blending Civil Engineering and Data Analytics skills to deliver results.  Applying data analytics to reach record low water leakage levels in Essex, inspiring teams to deliver industry leading water supply standards and shaping strategies that enable data driven project delivery. 

Jonathan is passionate about making the environment a better place and is a core member of PMI UK’s Sustainability Community of Action, developing a playbook to equip project professionals and collaborators to optimise our impact towards the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
