Martina is a Chartered Project and Programme Management Professional bringing 26 years of experience leading high-risk government projects and programmes across space, security, defence, digital and transformation.
- Currently a UK Government Advisor to the European Space Agency (ESA), supporting the Space Safety Programme to protect Earth, its inhabitants, and critical infrastructure both in orbit and on the ground
- UK Representative to the International Project Management Committee within the International Astronautical Federation
- Chair of the Association of Project Management International Space Sector Network
- Fellow of the Association of Project Management
- NISTA High-risk Assurance Reviewer for Major Projects and Programmes. Reviews include UK Parliament Security & Transformation Programmes and the Ministry of Defence Skynet 6 Programme
- NISTA accredited Senior Practitioner in UK government
- Recipient of the King’s Coronation Medal for delivering Operation Golden Orb in 2023
- Recipient of the IPA award for Advancing the UK Government Project Delivery Profession in 2023
- Awarded the Association of Project Management Volunteer of the Year in 2025
Previously worked in the Cabinet Office in Westminster as a Senior Programme Manager and Head of the Programme Management Office, working internationally in an advisory role for the Foreign Office in Brussels, and as Senior Programme Manager for the Transforming Government Security Programme, a cross-government programme delivering critical shared security services and capabilities.
