The AGM of the Portfolio Management SIG was held on 15 May with a good attendance of over 50 people.

We move into 2013-14 with a new committee comprising: Stephen Parrett, David Dunning, John Laughlin, John T MacGregor, Langeswaran Supramaniam, Martin Samphire, Mike Florence, Ruth Moyes and Steve Leary.

An entertaining presentation on implementing portfolio management tools was given by Ed Couch of Astra Zeneca, which highlighted the success of their approach together with the challenges they had to overcome. The presentation generated a great deal of interest with the audience, and questions continued after the formal close of the meeting. Eds slides can be found below.
