Climate Change and what the project profession should be doing about it: a UK perspective

Research on climate change has been led predominantly by physical scientists, but addressing how to mitigate and adapt to it will also need people who are expert project managers. This essay, Climate Change and what the project profession should be doing about it: a UK perspective by Professor Peter Morris, provides an initial scoping of where and how project management as a profession might address the implications and consequences of climate change.

A personal comment from Professor Morris

The essay, reflects the teaching, consulting and research Professor Morris has been doing over many years, challenging and shaping the way we think about project management. The field is fast-changing, and immensely complex but, as our understanding develops, ownership of the document will broaden and as the Chartered body for the project profession, APM is providing a platform to debate this challenge and the role of project management in tackling it.
