Amy is the Programme Controls Director at High Speed Two (HS2) Ltd, the UK’s largest infrastructure programme, constructing a new high-speed railway linking up London, the Midlands, the North and Scotland.

Amy has responsibility for Project Controls across all of HS2, ensuring visibility and accuracy of programme performance data and for setting enterprise-wide standards for project controls and project management.

Amy joined HS2 in 2014 as the Head of Project Controls delivering the Phase One Hybrid Bill and subsequently spent three years as Chief of Staff supporting the CEO and wider executive to deliver key programme and organisation priorities, she then undertook the role of PMO Director, prior to being appointed as Director of Programme Controls in spring 2022. Amy’s background and experience is diverse. Starting her career as a personal assistant, Amy has worked in progressively more senior roles, gaining experience and qualifications in project controls and project management by working on large and complex projects across HS2 Ltd, the Cabinet Office and the BBC.

During her career, Amy has gained a BSc (Hons) in Business Management and is a Chartered Project Professional.
