Diego Barilla, Partner, Bain and Company

Diego Barilla is a Partner in Bain's Performance Improvement and Advanced Analytics practices, based between London and Rome and operating globally.

Diego’s focus is on modernizing and improving the way companies manage their costs. He drives large Operating Model transformations with a strong emphasis on Digitization and Automation.

He has cross-industry experience, having managed programs in the Automotive and Industrial sector, Financial Services, Telecoms, Pharma and Consumer Products. 

Most recently, Diego spends most of his time helping his clients design and implement their technology-enabled visions, incorporating analytical and generative AI into their roadmaps while navigating the technological, ethical and change management challenges of such transformations. 

Prior to joining Bain, Diego built Globality, an AI-driven process automation solution, was a Partner with McKinsey, and worked at General Motors as a commodity manager.
