APM Women in Project Management Conference 2019

The Association for Project Management (APM) Women in Project Management Conference 2019 will this year challenge how diversity can deliver better balance in the project profession. The conference will also explore the role of diversity when embracing transformation and change and will offer project professionals tools and techniques that they can use to make their projects work harder and smarter.

Topics relevant to project professionals from a diverse range of backgrounds will be discussed, with concepts and ideas offering delegates practical takeaways that will add real value to day to day management of projects, programmes and portfolios.

Delegates can look forward to a packed schedule of networking with industry peers, sharing and discussing ideas and best practice and hearing from a variety of influential and respected speakers.

Conference streams

The day will explore three streams:

  • Better Balance: Covering resilience, well-being in the workplace and how organisations can promote a more diverse and balanced workforce by developing culture
  • Transformation and Change: covering the management of change both in projects and in organisations and exploring ways that project professionals can make these transitions easier to manage
  • Tools and Techniques: Covering practical project management advice that project professionals can take away and apply to their own projects.

Delegates may select sessions which are relevant to them, with no need to stay within one stream.
