Martina Blake

Head of the Office for Project and Programme Management, Deputy Head of the Project Delivery Profession

Martina is an accomplished Change Management and Project, Programme and Portfolio Management specialist. She has a demonstrable record in leading and delivering complex and high-risk Government Major Projects and Programmes in areas such as the Space Industry, Government Security, Defence, IT and Welfare Reform, both in the UK and internationally. She is a high-risk programme assurance team leader for the Infrastructure and Projects Authority. Martina also has extensive experience in Operational Delivery and Organisational Design and Development, working across government and within local councils.

 She is a highly sought after public speaker for project delivery events focusing on equity, diversity and inclusion, and an award-winning Project Delivery Professional in Leadership and Advancing the Profession.

 Martina’s current appointment is in the UK Space Agency, advising on the transformation of the Agency into a successful delivery department, focusing on space missions and capabilities, and leading the project delivery profession and cadre of project and programme specialists. She is also the UK representative for the International Project Management Committee within the International Astronautical Federation, working in partnership with international space agencies such as NASA and ESA.
