Session | Mental Health as a critical Project Key Performance Indicator
As someone who has experience poor Mental Health, I would like to talk about how (in some respects) poor Mental Health is one of the biggest causes of lost hours (I will underpin this with facts). Why do we not measure this as a key KPI on our projects? I will talk about Burnout and the root causes, using examples relating to early careers and more experienced people. I will discuss my ideas around what we can do to help people (mitigate) and what benefits can we see from a focus on this issue. I would also propose to invite views from the audience on a couple of the topics within the presentation. This focuses particularly on the following:
- empathetic leadership
- collaborative team management
- inclusive practices
