Antonio is a leading expert in building transformation capabilities at scale - helping organizations become project-driven, deliver their most complex initiatives faster, and transform again and again. He works with leading organizations such as L’Oréal, Nestlé, Google, Repsol and Euronext, among many others. 

He is the most published author of project management articles in Harvard Business Review, and the only project management expert included in the Thinkers50 ranking of the world’s most influential management thinkers. He is the author of the HBR Project Management Handbook, the featured HBR article The Project Economy Has Arrived, and his latest book Powered by Projects: Leading Your Organization in the Transformation Age, alongside several other books, and is the creator of the Project Economy.

He is currently Vice President of the Association for Project Management (APM). Previously, he was Chairman of the Project Management Institute in 2016, and is a PMI Fellow. He is also a leading expert in AI and project management, with one of the most pioneering and highly appreciated courses in the field. 

Born in Madrid and educated in Germany, Mexico, Italy and the United States, Antonio is fluent in five languages and holds an MBA from London Business School.
