Association for Project Management (APM) members are being invited to nominate candidates for the organisation’s upcoming board elections, which will see four newly elected members take an active role in shaping the future of the project profession.

As the chartered body for the project profession, APM is committed to developing and promoting project, programme and portfolio management. Its board of elected trustees plays a vital role in turning APM’s vision into a reality, creating a world in which all projects succeed with project management as a life skill for all.

APM members with Full or Fellow grade membership who feel they can bring diverse skills, backgrounds and experience to the board can nominate themselves to stand in the election. Voting will open on 7 October and results will be announced at APM’s annual general meeting on 18 November.

Mike Robinson, company secretary, said: “This election is an opportunity for experienced and committed project professionals to help serve their Association and profession. The board wants top calibre candidates to put themselves forward and we’ve developed some comprehensive guidance on the role which is available online.”

Full details on the role and a candidate briefing pack are available here.
