Dr Michael Bonne, Director of Transformation and Technology at the Association for Project Management (APM), has been appointed Digital, Technology and Cyber Security Trustee at the College of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare (CoSRH).

The appointment will see Dr Bonne bring senior-level experience in digital transformation, technology strategy, governance and cyber security to CoSRH’s Board of Trustees as the College continues to develop secure, effective and future-focused digital services for sexual and reproductive healthcare professionals.

In the specialist trustee role, Dr Bonne will provide strategic oversight and constructive challenge on digital innovation, technology investment, data governance and cyber resilience. He will also support the Board in considering the implications of emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence and automation, alongside issues of risk, compliance, procurement and ethical use.

CoSRH is the professional body for sexual and reproductive healthcare, supporting standards, education and clinical guidance across the specialty. Its work includes qualifications, professional development and resources for clinicians and other professionals working to improve access to high-quality sexual and reproductive healthcare.

Dr Bonne said: “I’m delighted to have been appointed as a Trustee at CoSRH. It’s an organisation that plays a vital role in setting clinical standards, supporting professionals and ultimately improving outcomes in sexual and reproductive health, and I’m very pleased to be able to contribute to its mission.

“Digital technology has an increasingly important role to play in how professional bodies support their members, safeguard information and deliver accessible, responsive services. I’m looking forward to working with the Board and wider team to help shape the future direction of the College.

At APM, Dr Bonne leads transformation and technology, supporting the organisation’s strategic objectives through digital services, infrastructure, data and cyber security. He previously spent more than a decade at the Royal Pharmaceutical Society, including as Head of Information and Facilities, and has also held roles at the Royal Society of Chemistry.

His appointment reflects the growing importance of robust digital governance within healthcare organisations, particularly as professional bodies manage sensitive data, support increasingly digital member services and respond to new opportunities and risks created by emerging technologies.
