APM has two ambassador networks that were set up at the start of 2018. And next year, we’re hoping to go from strength to strength.

We currently have more than 160 APM Ambassadors supporting activity – and as the education outreach programme gains more traction in more places we will need even more members to support us. In particular, we are looking for young project professionals to create social media content that will help to promote the profession.

One of our networks is for current or former project management apprentices, to help us reach out effectively to schools and colleges which invite us to present to their students about alternatives to university.

The second network is for graduates working in project roles, who would like to support APM’s broader campaign of school and university engagement, connecting with students from a wider range of subject areas. It’s important that people realise that project professionals have graduated in just about every subject area.

It’s not just about presenting and building relationships - our APM Ambassadors have also written blogs, helped us to create video content and supported students working on projects in schools and colleges.

There’s plenty of ways to become involved, please contact Caspar Bartington to register your interest and for more information.
