A successful night at the prestigious Memcom Excellence Awards saw members of APM's team take home two trophies, in addition to being nominated in a further two.

The Memcom Excellence Awards celebrate innovation and creativity in the membership organisation sector, shining a light on people's achievements and hard work. Hundreds of Attendees, representing membership organisations from across the UK, turned out for the glittering awards ceremony in London on Tuesday 26 September.

Dionne Suppiah, APM's Membership Development Manager, received the award in the Rising Star category. Presenting the award, host Lucy Porter said: "The judges felt [Dionne] has made a significant impact on membership and student engagement. It's clear they're a rising star within the organisation and have demonstrated great potential."

Dionne said: “I'm delighted but shocked to win, but it's great. I'd like to say a huge thank you to the wonderful team I work with at APM for nominating me.”

Deborah Sin, Head of Customer Operations at APM, was highly commended in the Memcom Good Egg category; a newly introduced category that recognises people who routinely go above and beyond for their organisation, colleagues and customers.

Addressing the crowd, Lucy Porter said: "Simply by being in this room tonight, you're all winners. You're the absolute best at what you do!"
