Honorary Fellowship: Nominations open
Posted by James Driver on 29th May 2018
An Honorary Fellowship is one of the highest honours that APM can confer on to an individual.
Members of APM are now invited to nominate special individuals to be considered as Honorary Fellows.
For those selected, obtaining Honorary Fellowship, and the ability to use the post-nominals HonFAPM, is something to be very proud of.
To ensure nominees stand the best chance of selection by the Honorary Fellowship committee, we would like to highlight the key criteria for obtaining Honorary Fellowship to APM.
This includes a review of the criteria for obtaining Honorary Fellowship by the APM Board in 2017, to reflect the typical understanding of the word ‘honorary’.
- For those who have provided an exceptional, demonstrable and significant contribution to project management or to the project management profession; and
- For individuals who have achieved highly creditable, pre-eminent and notable achievements in their own professions and careers; and
- Open to those who are not currently project professionals.
The process for you to nominate exceptional candidates hasn’t changed. So, if you can identify a candidate we would like to hear from you.
The names submitted will go to the Nominations Panel who will consider them alongside other good candidates and make recommendations to the Board.
Nominations will close on the 24 June 2018
