Association for Project Management (APM) is pleased to announce that nominations for the 2026 APM Trustee elections are now open.

APM is asking any Full and Fellow Members (MAPMs and FAPMs) who wish to take a leading role in advancing the project profession to nominate themselves to serve on the APM Board. This year we are looking for two trustees.  Each will have an initial three-year term to November 2029.

The Board of elected trustees play a key role in developing APM’s strategy and supporting the organisation in its ongoing success. We urge candidates from a range of backgrounds, sectors and experiences to apply.  We are keen to see a mixture of characteristics, experiences and skills represented on the Board, as diversity of thought improves decision making and leads to innovative problem solving.

APM is looking for high calibre candidates who can demonstrate the competencies needed to be a trustee and have  a commitment to our professional ethics and values. Experience as a trustee or non-executive Director is beneficial, but not essential as a comprehensive induction and training programme will be provided.

Please visit the election website to read the guidance, watch a webinar and check the eligibility criteria.  We hope you will consider submitting a nomination or encourage others to do so. The deadline to submit nominations is at 17:00 BST on Wednesday 2 September 2026.
