PfM SIG conference 2018 – Workshop slides and outputs
Three workshops were held at this year’s PFM conference, Maximising value from portfolio management, on Thursday 17 May.
As promised, the slides used at each one are now available, along with a short summary of the outputs/conclusions:
“Agile” portfolio management
What is it and how can we make it work?
Reference Class Forecasting
Optimising the overall portfolio value, cost and schedule based on ‘big data’, and how to apply these ground-breaking techniques.
Disruptive projects in the portfolio
Leading edge thinking, approach and practice.
There will shortly be a blog on the conclusions of this workshop.
Ideas and questions generated at these will be used by the SIG committee in developing future conference workshops and/or designing areas of further research as discussed on the day.
If anyone has any additional questions or thoughts on any of the three topics please contact us.
