Arun Khuttan - Sustainability Manager, Nuclear Decommissioning Authority

Arun, Sustainability Manager at the NDA, is dedicated to embedding sustainability in key business areas to benefit both people and the planet. He leverages shared efforts across the NDA group to maximize and multiply benefits, fostering an environment of success and collaboration. Arun co-chairs the Next Generation Nuclear Industry Council, is a fellow of the RSA, and co-founded the Destination Nuclear attraction campaign. He also founded the #NetZeroNeedsNuclear campaign and co-led the UK Young Generation Network and global Nuclear for Climate movement, making a notable impact at COP26. 

A chartered chemical and nuclear engineer, Arun has worked at Magnox (now NRS sites), Moltex, EDF on Hinkley Point C, ANSTO, and Sellafield, contributing to various technical and sustainability initiatives.
