Lynda Rawsthorne serves as the Government Head of Property Profession and Director of Property Capability, Strategy & Standards, a role she has held since August 2023. In addition, she was elected to the RICS Governing Council in January 2025.

Lynda represents a diverse community of property professionals across government, providing leadership and oversight in delivering the Government Property Strategy and the Functional Standard. Her work focuses on ensuring the public sector estate meets operational needs while remaining efficient and sustainable, aligning with the government's levelling up ambitions.

With over 25 years of experience in the property lifecycle, Lynda is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), the Chartered Institution of Building, and the Association of Project Management. She has a strong background in valuation and estate management and is an advocate for developing talent and capability within the profession.
