Richard Bonner Chair of the West of England LEP, and Board Member of the Western Gateway will discuss opportunities for the built and natural environment sector to contribute to creating a modern inclusive economy across the region.
The session will have plenty of time for Q&A and interactive discussion. The session will highlight some priorities for APM professionals, seek their ideas and what we should be doing across our networks to accelerate our ambitions for the wider region!

Richard Bonner Chair of the West of England LEP, and Board Member of the Western Gateway 

Richard is an experienced business leader, working with Arcadis for over 15 years. He is currently a City Executive across both Northern Cities, and Bristol and the South West, Working with transport providers, local authority leaders and the private sector across the these areas to help them navigate the evolving demands of the urban environment. From the challenges of housing delivery and under-investment in the railways, to positioning our cities, towns and high streets for post-Covid recovery, The opportunity is to shape how these city regions take advantage of the focus and investments towards levelling up to create thriving and connected places to live and do business.
Richard has a number of non executive roles, and is currently Chair of the West of England Local Enterprise Partnership, and member of the Northern Powerhouse Partnership Board, and Western Gateway Partnership Board.
