Project Management Graduate, Babcock

I am a UWE Forensic Science Alumni, graduated in 2016. I was very unsure what career I wanted to go into after university as I knew a Forensic Science career wasn’t for me.

Years later and after various jobs, I finished the Babcock Project Management Graduate Scheme in September which I absolutely loved. I’m now in my substantive role and the future is looking bright!

Session | APM Project Management Challenge winners 2026: How our project delivered benefits to iSight Cornwall.

Sight’s mission is to provide practical, emotional, and timely support to people with sight loss. They do this through face-to-face sessions helping them live independently with specialised equipment. Their vision is focused on creating a future where people with sight loss have opportunities and live without limitation.

We Project managed the delivery of a high-quality gaming livestream on both Twitch and TikTok. This was hosted by Dom who is a blind team member to showcase the accessibility opportunities for those affected by sight loss, to promote awareness and future-proof the charity.

Our planned benefits were to drive direct revenue into the charity, boost community engagement and increase awareness. Our success criteria followed the topic of iSight’s 170th anniversary. First was to increase live viewers by 170, increase donations by £170 and increase followers by 170. We far exceeded those goals and reached nearly 1,500 viewers, raised £480, and gained over 1,300 followers. We gained global reach for iSight, with viewers and followers from USA, Canada, and the Netherlands.
