APM Attending Project Challenge 2019
Association for Project Management (APM) is delighted to once again take part in the Project Challenge Expo 2019.
APM’s Head of External Affairs, David Thomson, will be taking to the stage at the much-admired project management event held in London this month.
David is responsible for external engagement, research, thought leadership and policy at APM. He takes an active role in promoting the chartered project profession following APM’s transition to a chartered body and the launch of the chartered register in 2018.
David will be speaking about APM’s latest campaign, Projecting the Future, exploring what the future has in store for project management. Projecting the Future aims to tackle challenges ranging from the 100-year life to climate change.
David comments: “Project management is a key profession for implementing beneficial change to the economy and society. Our ‘big conversation’ with the profession and other stakeholders about what the future challenges are and how we address them is important to the profession for making a greater impact in the public interest. It will great to share this at the Project Challenge event and get people’s views on how we can shape the future.”
Project Challenge, which takes place on 26 September at Olympia, London, provides the perfect platform for project managers to gain real, practical value and a very worthwhile learning experience. With leading exhibiting organisations and 25 inspiring free, high quality presentations to choose from, this unmissable event provides an unparalleled opportunity to learn from leading industry experts.
