APM GBA Branch Team Dinner 2023

APM GBA Branch had our first team dinner as a nice kick off for the 2023 branch activities. The Branch Committee members have been working together closely on-line for two years.

It is the first time we met altogether in person and had a nice Chinese New Year dinner located at the recent popular area West Kowloon Cultural District. We all enjoyed the delicious dishes especially the Peking Duck and Lobster Udon.

At the beginning of the dinner, Jim thanked all the committee members on the support and commitment on the branch and head office events. It is tough to run face to face activities in GBA especially under the COVID regulations in Hong Kong. It is great we have made webinars, membership seminars, Branch Awards and CLP site visit in success.

In 2023, the branch will continue to invite professional speakers to provide CPD webinars for project management professionals’ interest. We will continue to work with local universities and educational institutions to promote project management professionalism.

The team has already worked on the marketing work for the Branch Award 2023 in Greater Bay Area. The branch is planning to arrange more face to face activities in 2023. In March, the branch has organised a webinar: Introduction to Delay Analysis from a technical and legal perspective, on 21 March 2023.

The team would like to thank Ellie Breakwell, Natalie Keppler, Robert Allen, Catherine Bendell and Caspar Bartington. It is great to have their full support for our works overseas in the past two years.

We look forward to having another great volunteering journey in 2023.
