This month sees APM launch a brand new one day conference called APM PresentsProject Management in Practice.

Taking place on 16th October, this event provides a unique opportunity to project professionals who are at the beginning or middle of their career to get expert insight into the fundamentals of project management, the how to.

Field experts from each of the APM Specific Interest Groups will be giving a valuable introduction to key areas of project management from governance and risk management to assurance and benefits management.

Nick Johns, chair of the SIG Steering Group said: APM recognised the need for an event which focuses on project fundamentals, and APM Presents will be a fantastic opportunity to learn from the knowledge and expertise of the project specialists that we have within the APM Specific Interest Groups.

I strongly urge everyone to take advantage of this new and unique event.

Delegates will be able to attend six sessions during the course of the day with lots of opportunity to ask questions and learn from our specialist practitioners.

Now is the best time to book a place at this event. APM are giving the opportunity to those who book by Friday 12th September the chance to choose from a number of APM publications for free making a saving of up to 30.
