On 14 November Peter Wakeling came to the Ageas Bowl to discuss APM's Registered Project Professional (RPP) standard, the standard for extraordinary project professionals.

It was a unique insight on the refreshed RPP standard from an experienced, senior APM fellow and RPP, delivered at an exciting time for APM.

APM RPP is a pan-sector standard for those able to demonstrate the capabilities of a responsible leader, who have the ability to manage a complex project and use appropriate tools, processes and techniques. The standard recognises those who can or have achieved success in a complex project, programme and portfolio environment through the management of others. It assesses all elements of the APM  FIVE Dimensions of Professionalism in a single standard, thereby enhancing professional status and recognition. It raises the bar of project professionalism to a whole new level.

30 attendees heard Peter share his knowledge and insight on the RPP standard, where he gave practical advice to delegates on how to prepare and apply for it, as well as his hints, tips and lessons gathered from his personal RPP experiences.

Peter has kindly agreed to make the slides from his talk available, and they are listed below.
