Last year we mentioned here that we were planning to hold a joint event with the National Audit Office on the topic of 'assurance of Agile projects'. These plans are beginning to crystalise now, and we are starting to develop a programme for the event. It is likely to be a one-day conference later this year, comprising a combination of presentations from those with perspectives on the topic, and discussion groups to share experiences and chew over issues.

I am pleased to report that we will have the active involvement of the National Audit Office (for whom this is a topic that is close to their hearts) who have offered to lead a session on the challenges and opportunities. The British Computer Society will also be involved, as this is also an area of strong interest to them.

We already have a few candidate items for the day, but are keen to throw the net widely in terms of capturing those aspects that people would find most useful for us to cover.

If you have some personal experiences that you would like to share (e.g. via a presentation or leading a discussion), or if there is some aspects of the topic that you would particularly like to be covered, please let us know either by commenting belowor by email to me, the Assurance SIG Chairman.
