The 21st eVa conference will look to bring projects to life with a programme of expert speakers including the president of the International Project Management Association (IPMA) Reinhard Wagner.

Reinhard WagnerReinhard (pictured top) has over 30 years’ experience of project leadership across many different sectors including air defence and automotive engineering, as well as various not-for-profit organisations.

For more than 15 years, he has been actively involved in the development of project, programme and portfolio management standards including the ISO 21500 “Guidance on Project Management” and the ISO 21503 “Guidance on Programme Management”.

Reinhard will be joined by other senior experts at the two-day conference taking place in London on 16 and 17 June 2016. There will also be workshops in the run-up to the event.

The programme of speakers will look to cover many pertinent issues including the development and impact of earned value management (EVM) as it becomes an ISO standard.

The rise of the project management office (PMO) and the transition to agile will also be discussed along with the emerging challenges and massive opportunities facing the profession today.

APM board member and senior Fellow at Sad Business School, Dr. Paul Chapman, has also been confirmed as a speaker. 

Paul is currently academy director for the UK Government's Major Project Leadership Academy (MPLA), which is responsible for delivering the UK Central Government's portfolio valued at over £440bn.

Emma-Ruth Arnaz-PembertonOther confirmed speakers include mechanical engineer Murray Easton CBE, who is a former managing director at BAE Systems Submarine Solutions; Matt Williams, managing director of Connexion Systems; and Emma-Ruth Arnaz-Pemberton (pictured bottom) with over 15 years’ experience in the project management industry is currently the chair of the APM PMO Specific Interest Group.
