Last week, on Wednesday 30 January 2019, more than 400 project professionals gathered at Banking Hall in London to take pride in projects and the impact they have. The event celebrated the 384 project professionals that have successfully become Chartered and now become an inspiration for the future. It was a fantastic event and you can hear from some of our first ChPPs in our video of the evening.

Debbie Dore, APM’s chief executive said, “Seeing over 400 people in one place celebrating with such pride the impact of the chartered standard on the project profession was a complete joy!"

It’s an exciting time for our profession, with our new chartered standard, Project Management takes its rightful place at the table alongside other professions. In a recent research report, 78 per cent of employers were more likely to recruit a project manager holding chartered status. Proof that chartership helping to raise standards and employability.

Debbie continued: “Chartership is enabling project professionals to have an increasingly positive impact on society and the economy and help move us forward in securing our vision A world in which all projects succeed, and Project Management is a life skill for all.”
