Peter Bramley: Resource Development Manager, P3MO Client Delivery. Achieving APM Accreditation is the recognition of the investment that we have made in the development of our project managers and giving a clear message of their abilities and professionalism. We recognise that developing our project management staff helps us overcome the challenges of delivering the varied portfolios of work worldwide.
The accreditation also shows to our clients, stakeholders and staff that we are committed to Project and Programme Management professionalism. By gaining accreditation we have shown that the Client Delivery, P3MO Development Programme will help our staff to fulfil their potential as project management professionals.
David Gould: Head of Profession, P3MO, Client Delivery. Our APM Accreditation is a significant milestone in the organisational development of project management professionalism in FCO Services. Our journey continues as we grow and enhance our capabilities, both organisationally and personally using the Five Dimensions of Professionalism as our guide. Our people are central to our achieving our corporate goals and this acknowledgement demonstrates our investment in individual development to staff, our clients and the industry as a whole.
We are rightfully proud of our achievement, of the people who, on a daily basis, achieve in delivering project management for us and of being part of a Professional Body, APM.
Danny Payne: Director, Client Delivery. We deliver some 700 projects each year worldwide across a broad range of technologies. We have focussed on excellent project and programme management in recent years and the outcome has raised our game in terms of delivery, clarity, quality, capability and affordability. We are more effective, more efficient and more confident. Investment has been a win win as our staff benefit from new interesting challenges and career development, and clients get greater assurance on implementation and value for money. The APM has been extremely supportive to our staff and for our journey, where we are delighted to have achieved Corporate Accreditation for our techniques.

Agile refuses to analyse requirements beforehand – and thus declines to provide an initial certainty. This will probably always scare any stakeholder trying to understand whether or not they can show results to the board with the budget that they are granted.
You have a choice. You can either muddle on, stand firm and fix it – or look elsewhere.
