This webinar was held on Tuesday 11 August 2020. Sarah Short outlined how the insights provided from a project audit can help project management professionals set their project up for success.

The webinar introduced:

  • why we audit projects (the purpose, the insights to be gained and the audience),
  • how we carry out an audit (planning, execution, reporting, stakeholder management), and
  • when (to inform PM professionals that it can be at any stage during the project lifecycle).

Some brief case studies were used.

We ended the webinar by introducing a new user group we set up to discuss project auditing, share our experience, etc.

Presenter

Sarah Short
Until very recently I worked as an internal audit manager for Yorkshire Building Society, specialising in project management. I have previously spent 14 years working in various project delivery and governance roles for different financial service organisations, including Lloyds Banking Group.

I have now made the move to the first line of defence for change assurance in Yorkshire Building Society.
