Leading and landing change in the NHS

London branch members were guests of PA Consulting on 2nd October at an event where PA shared their experience of leading and landing change in an environment where delivery directly impacts peoples lives. Namely, within the NHS.
Harriet Oppenheimer and Mike Pearson talked about ways in which managing projects in this complex environment, with multiple and multi-layered delivery partners, requires flexible use and application of traditional programme management methods. Their entertaining presentations covered the governance challenges, landing change safely in a complex operational environment and maintaining focus through intense public scrutiny and external pressures.
Following the presentations delegates were able to take part in a lively question and answer session. London Branch is grateful to PA Consulting for providing this event for members.
