On Monday 14th March 2016, the London branch held a ‘Meet the Project Management Professionals’ evening at Westminster University.

The event was well attended by students and recent graduates who were interested in finding out more about careers in project management. The evening featured two young project managers, Temi Afolabi and Steve Wetherell, presenting their top tips on key skills required in the profession.

Following these presentations. Vince Hines of Wellingtone gave a talk on careers in project management highlighting current trends, what makes a good Curriculum Vitae (CV) and how to can improve your own. 

In the second half of the evening, the presenters were joined by leading project management firms, Atos, Lendlease, Turner and Townsend and Artelia who were on hand to answer any of the students questions about careers in project management. 

The London branch would like to offer a big thank you to all the presenters and firms that came to evening event to offer the next generation of project managers advice for thier future in the profession.

Vince, Stephen and Temi have kindly given permission for the presentation slides to be available to view in the APM resources section of our website.
