Nominations now open for APM Trustee elections 2025

Association for Project Management (APM) is pleased to announce that the 2025 APM Trustee ballot is now open.

APM is asking any Full and Fellow Members (MAPMs and FAPMs) who want to take a leading role in advancing the project profession to nominate themselves to serve on the APM Board. This year’s ballot will see trustees appointed to the Board on a three-year term. 

The Board of elected trustees play a vital role in developing APM’s strategy and supporting the organisation in its ongoing success. We are keen to see a mixture of characteristics, experiences and skills represented on the Board, as diversity of thought improves decision making and leads to innovative problem solving. We urge candidates from a range of backgrounds, sectors and experiences to apply.  If you would like more information on the important work of the board and APM’s governance visit the ‘About Us’ pages on the APM website. 

APM is looking for applications that can demonstrate the competencies needed to be a trustee, a commitment to our professional ethics and which share our values. Experience as a trustee or non-executive Director is beneficial, but not essential as a comprehensive induction and training programme will be provided. While time commitments vary between Board members, a contribution of approximately 20 days per annum is expected.  The ability to commit this time is essential for the role.

The deadline to submit nominations is at 17:00 BST on Wednesday 3 September 2025.

Please visit the election website, read the guidance, and make your nomination. Voting will then open at 10:00 BST on Monday 29 September 2025. The deadline for voting will be at 12:00 BST on Friday 31 October 2025. The results will be announced at the online APM Annual General Meeting on Monday 10 November 2025. The first Board meeting for new Board members will be held in the London offices on Monday 17 November 2025.
