Opportunities to serve on Board Committees
Posted by Kirsten on 6th Apr 2017
The Board of the Association for Project Management, the Chartered body for the project profession, is keen that its Committees include a diverse range of the highest calibre skills and expertise. The Board is currently looking for expressions of interest to serve on the following Committees:
- Advocacy & Nominations
- Audit & Assurance
Details of the Board’s Governance and its Committees can be found in the ‘How APM is Run’ section of the website. APM members who are interested in the opportunities are encouraged to read the material online, including the APM Regulations in the first instance.
The Board is particularly keen to hear from members who are qualified chartered accountants with relevant senior experience in finance and external audit who may wish to serve on the Audit & Assurance Committee. Candidates who have a broad range of senior experience across a variety of sectors and who wish to review APM’s external affairs strategies and approaches are also sought for the Advocacy & Nominations Committee. Experience of Board level work in a similar environment would be an advantage.
Those then wishing to express an interest are invited to contact the Company Secretary email@example.com for more information by the end of April 2017. An application process will then follow for those wishing to progress before final approval being sought from the Board.
