PMO wisdom interview with Nina Hartley, Summer 2021

Over the last 14 months, PMOs have faced an unprecedented situation with many finding their roles being fundamentally changed into a tactical support team dealing with an ambiguous remit in an ambiguous time.

During the same time, APM PMO SIG placed a hold on some of its activities to allow our committee to adapt and live their lives, focusing on bringing webinars to our members that may provide a different perspective to key topics.

Now that we are beginning to come out of the various lockdowns and into what is being termed as the ‘new normal’, we have worked with organisations to bring you some brand new PMO Wisdom interviews.

This #PMOWisdom interview is with Nina Hartley; previously PMO manager at the Met Office. One of the organisations that has had to continue its work during the last year whilst adapting to new ways of working. Nina recalls the Met Office PMO journey from her perspective from zero to when it became self-sufficient.
