APM are delighted to once again take part in Project Challenge - Expo 2017

Next month, leaders from the APM community, including APM chair John McGlynn, are set to take to the stage at the highly acclaimed Project Challenge expo 2017 held in London on 10-11 October.

John will aim to provide an update on APM's programme of work and some insight into its role going forward reflecting on what is the role of APM in this dynamic and exciting time for the profession?

The expo provides the perfect platform for project managers to network with likeminded project professionals, talk to a wide range of exhibitors and learn the latest industry skills and insights from up to 40 seminars across two days.

This year there are four zones:

  • Case studies and expertise: Learn about real word examples of project implementation and insights from leading project management experts;
  • Masterclass and solutions: Find out more about key drivers and best strategies for operational success;
  • Learning and professional development: Discover opportunities and training initiatives available to PM professionals to enable them to advance their careers;
  • Project planning and controls: Take a close look at some of the latest tools and techniques for project controls.

Thanks to a history of outstanding past expos, Project Challenge is now the UK’s leading independent show for projects, programmes, process and resources and is billed as “the best place to find out what’s on the horizon and find new project tools.”

Also taking to the stage is chair of the APM Contracts and Procurement SIG, John Lake, discussing 'How to successfully contract others to deliver success' - Using the APM Contracts and Procurement Guide.

Project delivery often requires the contracting of other organisations to undertake specialist work, or provide essential goods and services. It is therefore vital to be able to define carefully what it is you need from your partners, to know how to select them and how to manage them. This presentation will provide an overview of the contracting process and will show how the APM Contracts and Procurement Guide can help you through each of its stages.

To book your space or for more information on the event please visit the Project Challenge booking site.

Joining on the day? Come and visit us at stand 140 where we will be selling a selection of APM publications at a special show price. Delegates can take advantage of 20% off the following titles: APM Body of Knowledge 6th edition, APM Guide to Contracts and Procurement and the Praxis Framework.
