Please see below minutes of the review session which took place following the RPP Assessor Conference of 22nd October 2013.  Additional documents have also been provided below: the high level summary of the assessor survey which followed the event, and detailed responses which have been anonymised, as well as an update on the assessor survey topics.

This information represents to the best of our knowledge the essence of the discussions that took place on the day as it was fed back to the group. The contents have been checked by all of those who presented items on the agenda, but obviously there may have been points discussed in workgroups that we have not been able to capture.  If you feel this is the case, please contact andrea.kallides@apm.org.uk  (liz.wilson@apm.org.uk in Andrea's absence during w/c 11/11/13) and we can ensure these are properly recorded.

The small number of assessors who attended neither 25th October 2012 NOR 26th April 2013, will, in line with contractual obligations, be required to attend this event in order to remain active within the RPP assessor pool and will be contacted shortly - please ensure this date is in your diaries, and contact APM as soon as possible if you know you will not able to attend.

As part of your commitment to ongoing training, we expect all assessors to work through the standardisation exercise attached at the foot of this article. This is a portfolio from a real RPP candidate and efforts have been made to anonymise it as far as possible.

ON THIS OCCASION WE ARE EXPECTING ASSESSORS TO AVOID SCORES OF 1, USING ZEROES AND TWOS ONLY - PLEASE BEAR THIS IN MIND WHEN CARRYING OUT THE ASSESSMENT.

This must be completed and submitted by ALL ASSESSORS, whether they intend to be present on 22nd October or not.

Please allow enough time to complete the exercise. Your report should be e-mailed to Shohreh.golfard@apm.org.uk by 5PM 11th October so that analysis can be carried out on the results.

Attendees should bring a copy of their completed portfolio assessment report for this exercise and are requested to wear their RPP Assessor name badge to the event.

If you have misplaced your Name badge please let Shohreh know by 11th October. Replacements will either be brought along to the conference / posted to individuals / provided at your next professional review event.  

Once again, completion of this exercise is required of ALL RPP assessors whether attending the October conference or not, and is vital for APM to maintain assessment standards.

PLEASE DO NOT RETURN THE COMPLETED REPORT FORM TO CUSTOMER SERVICES FOR THIS TRAINING EXERCISE - IT SHOULD ONLY BE RETURNED TO PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS AND KNOWLEDGE.
