Survey of members’ expectations
Dear SIG member,
On behalf of the Portfolio Management SIG committee, I invite you to take part in our 2016 membership survey – “Discovering our Members Expectations”. This has been designed to understand what you want from membership of the SIG and to assist the SIG committee in designing and developing a range of activities and events that are stimulating, relevant, and topical, as well as adding significantly to all of our member’s professional knowledge and expertise.
We have kept the survey as light and open as possible, and it should take no more than 5-10 minutes to complete.
This is your opportunity to tell us what you think – the survey link is here.
In one of the survey questions we ask for recommendations for potential speakers who might be prepared to present at future conferences.
I realise that some of you may not wish to complete the survey but you may, however, have some suggestions to help us develop a good mix of presenters for our 2017 conference, the theme for which will be “Balancing the Portfolio”. Many factors play a part in this, of course, and we are looking for presentations that will cover one or more of the following aspects and related topics:
- Using risk to balance the portfolio, and the relevance of ‘risk appetite’ in your organisation
- Balancing the portfolio for value and/or throughput by optimising the use of critical and scarce skills and resources
- Optimising investment as a driver to balance the portfolio and achieve the organisation’s strategy
- Balancing the portfolio to maximise the benefits delivered
If you know someone who has a good story to tell and is willing to share their organisation’s experiences, please contact me (email@example.com) and we can consider including them in our plans for the 2017 and 2018 conferences. They should be appropriate for a professional audience of experienced portfolio practitioners.
This is a great chance to speak on a national platform and your assistance will be most appreciated.
Please complete our survey if you can - here.
