What makes a great risk manager?

Risk Management Professional magazine is working with Active Risk (formerly Strategic Thought Group) on a new initiative to establish what makes a great risk manager. As the role of risk management changes so too does the perception of risk managers.

Active Risk has launched a major new survey of risk professionals in Europe, North America, Australia and the Middle East. Risk managers are invited to take part by completing the online confidential DISC psychometric survey, which is the most widely used tool of its kind in the world. Answering the questionnaire should take no more than 6 to 8 minutes. Your participation will be rewarded with a personal profile report with advice on how to make the most of your personality traits in the context of the risk management discipline.

The cumulative results of the research will be published in Risk Management Professional in autumn 2011 together with the opportunity to receive a series of white papers based on different aspects of its findings.
