The APM Project Management Qualification (SQCF Level 7) is a qualification aimed at project professionals who are looking to demonstrate their knowledge and understanding of all key areas of project management.
The qualification is intended to help you achieve knowledge and understanding of all areas of project management that will support you when you are involved in projects from individual assignments through to large capital projects. You’ll learn how project management elements interact and how projects fit into a strategic and commercial environment.

What is assessed?
The syllabus assesses the key elements of the project management life cycle and covers knowledge areas from the APM Body of Knowledge 8th edition, including:
- planning and scheduling
- communication
- teamwork
- resource management
- project risk management
- project reviews
How is it assessed?
The Fundamentals Qualification is a one hour, 60-question, multiple-choice exam. You can sit the exam online either in a classroom with your accredited provider or at home utilising our remote live invigilator. You can book your exam at a time to suit you.
