APM is to introduce a revised Full member (MAPM) standard in spring 2019 to bring greater focus to the recognition of the experience of established project professionals.

On Thursday 17 January 2019 more than 80 professionals, members of the APM and non-members attended the launch event of the new Furness Group of the APM, which will support project management in the Furness Region.

A very well attended event, all seats taken and extra needed, a diverse audience with representatives from all sectors to hear PMO SIG Chair and evangelist Emma-Ruth Arnaz-Pemberton talk about PMO.

Tickets for the APM Project Management Conference Edinburgh, sponsored by 20/20 Project Management, are selling rapidly after the release of the programme and announcement of the key speakers.

On Tuesday 20 November 2018, Frank Curtolo presented at the INCOSEUK Annual Systems Engineering Conference, a paper titled ‘Requirements Management applied in an agile Project Management environment’ .

Following on from their well-received presentation at the 2018 WIPM conference, Marion Thomas and Sarah Walton, from Extraordinary Project Management, presented at the Wessex branch event held at the Ageas Bowl in Southampton.

The 2019 National Apprenticeship Week (NAW) event is running from Monday 4-Friday 8 March.
