HPS Feature: How does Portfolio Management need to change in a Digital Age?
As we all know Portfolio Management (PfM) is about selecting from a pool of possible investments (projects and programmes), the group that will deliver the organisations strategic outcomes within defined levels of acceptable risk, time and resources.
The PfM process of choosing and execution monitoring has not changed. What has changed is the frequency that organisations review their initiatives and make changes to the portfolio in order to ensure the strategic outcomes will be delivered as planned.
