You love your PMO, so how do you get others to love it too?

Jon Burke imparted his marketing expertise for sharing your awesomeness internally.

Jon gave real life examples and hints and tips; from when he enabled teams to move from obscurity into the light, and became involved and active within their wider organisational community.

Communication software
He personally recommends having a good company wide communication software, like Slack.
"Slack is a collaboration hub for work, no matter what work you do. It’s a place where conversations happen, decisions are made, and information is always at your fingertips."

Jon Burke
So, what is it your department does? Having worked in senior marketing roles across a number of leading businesses, Jon has a wealth of experience in driving internal communications activities; particularly with regards improving awareness in areas such as employee branding, project management progress as well as post-acquisition integration. Having helped departments such as HR, Project Management, and Customer Support market themselves better and raise their profile within businesses, he is able to share insights for achieving best practice when marketing internally.

This webinar is suitable for professionals with any level of experience.

Jon has very kindly allowed his presented material to be made available for viewing.
The slides on Slideshare and the webinar recording on YouTube is now available in our APM resources area and also embedded below for reference.

Upon reviewing the questions that were raised by the webinar audience, on Thursday 23 May Jon ran a live question and answer webinar to address these in a full response. This Q+A webinar was recorded and is available to listen to as an follow on additional resource.

Thanks for making these available. They act as a great reminder as I start planning for setting up a new PMO.
