Association for Project Management (APM) has appointed new Leads and Deputy Leads for its Regional Networks. Our recent recruitment process drew nearly 150 applications for these roles, which reflected the incredible talent and diversity of the project profession. Over the coming weeks, we’ll be introducing each of the new Leads and Deputy Leads. In the second part, we will introduce the Leads and Deputy Leads for our Regional Networks in London, Midlands, North East and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

London

Lead - Manikanth Reddy

What would you say is this Regional Network’s greatest strength?

“The London Network’s greatest strength is its unparalleled diversity of thought and experience. We sit at the crossroads of global commerce, which means our members aren't just managing local projects; they are often leading initiatives with international impact.”

Deputy - Nermeen Latif

What made you want to play a leading role in this Regional Network?

“This role lets me give back, support emerging professionals and STEM outreach, and help create inclusive, enjoyable spaces where people can connect, learn and feel inspired about their place in the profession.”

Midlands

Lead - Blue-Belle Kulpa

What would your message be to anyone considering following or engaging with this Interest Network, but who perhaps isn’t 100% sure?

“Our Network welcomes flexible involvement, and every contribution adds value. Professionals participate at different levels, collaborating to strengthen regional opportunities and support each other's professional development.”

Deputy - George Agiru

What would you say is this Regional Network’s greatest strength?

“I think the fact that the Midlands Regional Network covers a wide geographical area with diverse demographics is its greatest strength, as these are strong foundations for the growth of the network.”

North East

Lead - Oliver Randall

Deputy - Elisabeth Salmen

What do you think is the most pressing issue affecting the project profession in your region, and why?

“A key challenge in the North East is securing and retaining project talent amid ongoing economic transition. With major regeneration, transport, and digital programmes underway, demand for skilled professionals is growing faster than supply.”

UAE

Lead - Shiraz Amman

What made you want to play a leading role in this Regional Network?

I am passionate about strengthening the UAE’s project delivery capability by uniting Education and talent development authority, government leader, project management practitioners, and industry executives around future talent needs.”

Deputy - Ibrahim Peerzada

What would you say is this Regional Network’s greatest strength?

“Our network’s strength lies in its diverse, multinational membership, offering a rich melting pot of global best practices adapted for the Middle East's ambitious giga-projects.”

We’ll continue to spotlight more of our newly appointed Regional Network Leads and Deputy Leads and the priorities they’ll be focusing on in their regions. If you want to learn more about APM Regional Networks, click here.
